Simpson, Sr. and Betty Simpson * Graduated Magna Cum Laude from St. Augustine's College with a B.A. degree in 1989 * Received his Master of Divinity Degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1992 * Conferred with the Doctor of Ministry Degree from United Theological Seminary, Dayton, Ohio in 1998 * Founder and Pastor Emeritus of Canaan Missionary Baptist Church, Chicago, Illinois where, under his administration, over 700 souls have been added to the work of the ministry. * Pastor of First Missionary Baptist Church of Clayton, NC. * 20 years of Pastoral Experience * Well-known and respected national preacher and lecturer * Based on his love for healing the ills of the community, he has over 12 years of community development experience * Past President and CEO of Canaan Community Redevelopment Corporation which serves over 1200 residents in the West Englewood Community * Past International Director of Christian Education for the St. Mark Covenant Churches Fellowship * Past Academic Dean of Students for RMN Bible College of Chicago, IL * Ministerial philosophy is Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." * Married to Delectra H.
