Deacon Dextor Dickson
Chairman Deacon
Frederick D. Stallings, Jr
.
is a lifetime member at Fmbcc. Deacon Stallings is married to Belinda Stallings and they have three children, Blake, Ashlee, and Randi, they are the proud grandparents of Wynter. Deacon Stallings is very faithful to his calling as a Deacon and also to his Pastor, he goes above and beyond his call of duty in his ministry, you can always find Deacon Stallings anywhere that is needed he is always willing to lend a helping hand.
 
Deacon Stallings favorite scripture can be found in Hebrews 13:1 "Let brotherly Love continue".

Deacon Keith Adams
Deacon Keith Adams  was born Sept. 18, 1971 in Pompano, Florida. Having received Christ at an early age, Keith began working in the church. Deacon Adams has been involved in many community activities, such as playing the role of McGruff, the crime dog and also Santa Cop in which he donated presents to the less fortunate children.  Deacon Adams is Married to Melvis Adams and they have two sons, Lunden and Justin.  Becoming an ordained Deacon at FMBCC was very emotional and a unforgettable time for Deacon Adams, he is very thankful that God has continued to bless and keep him in his grace.
 
Deacon Adams favorite scripture is: I Timothy 1:12
"And I thank Christ Jesus Our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry."

Deacon N. Byrd
Deacon Fred Norman Byrd is the Vice-Chairman Deacon at FMBCC. Deacon Norman has served as Deacon for many years.  Deacon Norman is Married to Connie L. Byrd and they are the proud parents of one daughter, Erika Grace Byrd.  Deacon Byrd continues to serve on the Deacon ministry faithfully.
 
Deacon Norman Byrd's favorite scripture is Ephesians 4:13:
"Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ."
 
Deacon Norman's Inspirational song is : Hold to God's Unchanging hand.

Deacon Leroy Vinson
Deacon Leroy Vinson gave his life to Christ at an early age.  He was ordained as a deacon in 1992, At New Bethel United Church Of Christ. He is married to Lillie Vinson and they have one daughter,  Loretta Vinson. Deacon Vinson and family became members of First Missionary Baptist Church in December of 1996. Deacon Vinson has a genuine love for gospel music, and he sincerely believes that you can sing and praise your way through any situation.

If asked what Deacon Vinson's favorite song is, he would probably say, 

"There Is a Balm in Gilead."

Deacon Vinson's favorite scripture is Psalm 100.


Deacon Morris Barbour
Deacon Morris Barbour, Chairman Emeritus, is a  faithful member of First Missionary Baptist church.  He is one of our oldest Deacons.  Deacon Barbour enlighten us with his wisdom every Sunday morning at our Sunday church school.  Deacon Barbour is a very wise Deacon whom the Deacons look up to for advice and to share some of his knowledge.  There are many scriptures that come to mind when you ask Deacon Barbour his favorite one.  We would probably  have to say the entire Bible.

Deacon Dextor Dickson
Deacon Dexter B. Dickson, Born Sept 9, 1966 to the parents of Oscar & Doris B. Dickson Sr. A devoted family man with Christian valves that has been instilled in him throughout his youth.  He is the father of two Letitia Danielle and Ashton Bernard, his wife of 23 years, Penny Dobbin-Dickson, who has always been an inspiration and  tremendous support.  A servant to the people of God, who motivates one another to stay in the good fight and continue growing in the Lord.
 
Dexter's favorite scripture is Psalms 19:14
